Feel Better, Uncover You

Internal Family Systems is a guide to treating more than just symptoms (e.g. anxiety, depression). I use IFS to help individuals get to the root issues in a gentle but effective way. The aim is help others create long-lasting relief from painful feelings, thoughts and experiences so they can live life with more agency and authenticity.

All of You is Welcome Here

Please note, I see clients in different states with different location and financial options per state. I see California clients virtual only and I accept insurances listed below. I see Wisconsin clients both in-person and virtual while accepting out-of-network and private pay financial options only. I am a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist through the IFS institute. My primary specialty is trauma, which I find IFS (aka Parts Work) extremely effective and gentle at treating. Trauma work is for anyone and everyone, even those who don't identify as having a traumatic event or situation having occurred. Trauma therapy looks at how events and people in our lives may have impacted us. Anxiety, depression, rumination, perfectionism, people-pleasing - these are often rooted in earlier experiences. Connecting briefly with our history helps us make more intentional choices in our lives, instead of being driven by beliefs and forces from our past. Somatic therapy components are interwoven with IFS. We'll work together to re-connect the mind with the body. This allows us to better understand our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. This new skill can then guide individuals to unearthing deeply helpful information about themselves. People become empowered with this insight and are able to make beautiful changes for themselves driven by their own agency instead of by feelings or past situations. I often feel IFS therapy work is very sacred - carefully illuminating areas that have felt like dark internal recesses. It's an honor and a privilege to guide and witness. I look forward to hearing from you to see how we can help you move forward together.
